Vonnie moved to Illinois with her husband Tommie in the 1950s. She returned to Tennessee after Tommie's death.
The Rains Family Record in the sources below appears to be written by Vonnie Raines, judging by her handwriting in family letters.
The date of birth on Vonnie's headstone is wrong.
