Notes
Louise was also known by Louisa, which may have been the name she was given at birth. I've gone with Louise because it is the name on her headstone and the name she used in the 1920 census.
In the 1900 census, there is a smudge where the number of children should be, but it almost looks like a number '1' in that column and a 'O' for number living. The 1910 census has 0 children, 0 living.
From tulane.edu - Stanley Thomas Hall at Tulane University - Stanley O. Thomas, attorney, soldier, and President of the New Orleans Cotton Exchange, bequeathed to Tulane the funds to erect "a building for University purposes" to be named in his memory.
From advancement.loyno.edu - Thomas Hall at Loyola University - Thomas Hall, one of the university’s first buildings, originally served as a residence and chapel for Jesuits of the New Orleans Province until 2005. Built in 1911, the year before Loyola University received its charter, Thomas Hall is named for Louise C. Thomas who funded the construction in memory of her late husband Stanley O. Thomas, a cotton broker.
