Julia Castellaw Straight - obituary

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Castellaw Straight, 62, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday from the Chapel of Humboldt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial followed in Holly Grove Cemetery near Bells in Haywood County.

note: Julia Castellaw was not a widow. She was divorced and Wayne Straight was living at the time of her death. He is still living at this writing, year 2011.

Funeral services for Mrs. Julia Castellaw Straight, 62, were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday from the Chapel of Humboldt Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Davis officiating. Burial followed in Holly Grove Cemetery near Bells in Haywood County.

Mrs. Straight, the widow of Wayne Straight, died Monday, February 3, 1992 at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX. She was a native of Haywood County and lived in Humboldt before moving to Dallas 19 years ago. She was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Vonnie Louise Raines Castellaw.

Survivors are five daughters, Mrs. Linda Brogdon of Humboldt, Mrs. Judy Moon, Mrs. Pam Domenico and Wanda Straight all of Dallas, TX, Mrs. Cheryl Peters of River Ridge, LA; two sons, Wayne Straight of Fort Worth, TX and Dale Straight of Dallas, TX; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Humboldt Funeral Home was in charge.
