This is a list of the free online resources I've come across while researching Alex's family tree, including birth, death, marriage, military, census and other records. I'll be adding to the list as long as I'm working on the tree and finding more resources.

If you need a way to organize and share your family tree information, you can get a free genealogy software program (Personal Ancestral File) here: familysearch.org. You can easily store your data and create web pages, charts and gedcom files.
