Sugar and pH Levels
September 2 2005
Judy went in for blood work today. She asked her doctor many questions regarding vitamins, her medical records, and her diet. I should have taken notes when she was telling me what he said because I haven't retained much of that information. I'll ask her again tomorrow and put up those details.
I do remember that she asked him why he didn't advise her to avoid sugar. It seems he doesn't believe cancer feeds on sugar.
I researched more on that subject and found that Dr. Otto Warburg was twice awarded the Nobel Prize for his findings on oxygen and cells. He found that when a cell's oxygen level was lowered by 35%, it became cancerous.
I'm reading in many places that processed sugar produces a low oxygen environment. It stands to reason that anything that lowers the oxygen levels will help cancer to grow.
I also read that the blood pH level is very important. I'm still looking into this, but it seems that the higher the acidic/alkaline level, the less oxygen is in the blood. Calcium may be able to help with this, but I'm not sure yet. I've read that processed sugar also blocks calcium absorption and that it is extremely acidic.
I asked Judy if they tested her pH level. She doesn't know, but will find out Wednesday. In the meantime, I'll continue to search.
Judy went in to work today for a few hours after her doctors visit. She's still feeling fine, but has moments where she doesn't hear you when you speak to her. We don't know if that is a hearing problem brought on by the radiation or if it is an after effect of the seizure.
