This is Alex near Quartzsite, Arizona in 2007. We had hiked about six miles that day toward Sleeping Grandfather's Mountain to get to the spot this picture was taken. We were headed for Dripping Springs, to collect quartz crystal, but we didn't have time to get there and back to camp before dark. We stopped at this spot and examined the pretty bluish-green rock, then hiked the six miles back.
